FlooringMax.Com is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. FlooringMax.Com collects information from our users at several different points on our website.

Ordering

We request information from the user on our order form. When you order from us we will ask for your name, address, company name, company address, phone and fax numbers, email addresses, contact information, credit card information and billing address. Additionally we will ask for information pertaining to the room and room size for which you are ordering. This information is used for billing purposes, filling customer's orders and to contact customers if problems should arise. The information is never sold, shared or rented to others.

Correcting/Changing Information

If a customer's personal information changes, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct or update that customer's personal data provided to us. This can be done by emailing technical support (sales@FlooringMax.Com). If a user emails technical support with the changes, technical support will send a validation email to the customer. The customer must respond to this email before any changes will take place.

Cancellation of Service

If a customer no longer desires our service, we will retain customer information for historical purposes. This information will not be sold, shared, or rented, except to cooperate with a subpoena or other government order.

Cookies

A "cookie" is a small data file transferred by a Web site to your computer's hard drive. FlooringMax.Com does not utilize these types of cookies.

FlooringMax.Com does make use of session states. A session state is nothing more than memory allocated on the server for the duration of a users visit. As a result of session states, a user that has disabled cookies on their computer may experience problems navigating our website. Usage of a session state is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the session state simply terminates.

Log Files

We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Sharing

FlooringMax.Com does not share information with our partners or advertisers. FlooringMax.Com may from time to time use third party services to provide better services to our customers. We do not provide any third party service with personally identifiable information and these third party service providers are only allowed to gather information to provide a specific service.

We use an outside credit card processing company to bill users for services. This company does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

When a customer signs up for service they are automatically subscribed to our mail list. We send email on a monthly basis, but may from time to time send out special notices to let our customers know about specials. Customers are able to un-subscribe from the mailing list by visiting the website.

Surveys

From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Our employees must use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to your information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices.
